QPAC® is clean-burning, decomposes at very low temperatures, burns out completely and consistently, and offers exceptional green strength for ceramic parts making it an excellent choice for the exacting requirements of high-purity technical ceramics. Combined with a variety of powders, QPAC® binders are suitable in many methods of forming including pressing, extrusion, slip casting, injection molding, etc.
- Upon decomposition, QPAC® leaves virtually no residue or contamination.
- QPAC® produces benign emissions; products of combustions are carbon dioxide and water vapor, which are non-toxic, non-flammable, and environmentally safe.
- Low temperature burnout for sensitive materials. QPAC® decomposes completely between 250°C and 350°C, which can be as much as 100°C below the decomposition temperatures of other binders.
